OUR PROCESS

Setp 1:

Initial Enquiry

All of our wedding cakes are bespoke and crafted from scratch just for you, so I recommend getting in touch early, as soon as the venue and dates are booked you can turn you attention to cakes.

I recommend getting in touch 3 months - 12 months in advance. Please fill in the contact form below and I will get back to you within 48 hours to understand more about your wedding and the style, then supply you with a rough price guide based on your guest numbers and the style of cake.

Setp 2:

Consultation & tasting

Explore the Flavour Menu

If you'd like to move forward and secure the date with me, you can do so with a £100 deposit, which will be deducted from the final balance. Then you will be invited to a video consultation call to discuss in detail about your wedding and the cake. We will talk about the design, the style, texture as well as the cake set up and on the day logistics.

In the mean time, you will receive my signature tasting box which contains 5-6 my most popular flavours for you to sample at your own home.

Setp 3:

Design & Confirmation

After the consultation, I will go away and sketch out the ideas and provide detailed quotation for each option we discussed.

And you can simply communicate with me via email for confirmation and any tweaks.

About 8 weeks before the wedding, I will get in touch with venue, your planner, florist ( if you are using fresh flowers) to make sure everything is in order.

4 weeks prior your wedding, I will send you a reminder to let you know that balance of the cake is due, and confirm the spec of the cake again.

On your wedding day, I will arrive on venue promtly to set up and style the cake. The cutting guide and allergen sheet will be handed over to the catering team. And viola - enjoy!

Tasting & Flavours

We spent a lot of time thinking and curating the Lil Moon Bakery cake menu.

And tasting box is a unique surprise combination to help you explore your flavour profiles - ranging from safe crowd-pleasers to slightly edgy choices out of your comfort zone.

Each booked couple will receive complimentary tasting box, which include 6 flavours to sample. You are also welcome to purchase it for £35 before secure your date with me.

Each wedding cake regardless of size receives our full attention, therefore our prices reflect the personal and premium service we offer to every one of our couples.

We do however always try to cater to different budgets therefore please do get in touch and we will be delighted to discuss options to suit your requirements.

TWO TIERS

Perfect for an intimate wedding, elegant and small are the keywords.

Approximately 45 finger portions

THREE TIER

from £580

Our most popular size combo, suitable for most contemporary and traditional styles.

Approximately 90 finger portions.

FOUR TIERS & MORE

from £750

A showstopper wedding cake to wor your guests with maximum impact.

Approximately 150 finger portions.

Due to the bespoke nature of my designs, every cake is priced individually based on their complexity of design and a number of other factors including: size (tier numbers, guest numbers...), design complexity, shape (round/square), setup props etc, which we could discuss during consultation call.

Please note, during June to September, I have a minimum spend of £550 for weekend weddings (Friday-Sunday) which can include a smaller cake and edible wedding favours as gifts for your guests or a dessert table
(excludes delivery).
